Experience
Maegan has over two years of experience working in private practice, where she has supported clients navigating anxiety, depression, body-image concerns, performance anxiety, OCD, adjustment challenges, relationship issues, phobias, and PTSD/trauma. She approaches each client with deep respect, curiosity, and compassion, honoring the unique story and strengths they bring into therapy.
Maegan is especially passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they navigate the pressures of today’s world. She is dedicated to working alongside these individuals to overcome issues with social media influence, body image concerns, academic and athletic performance anxiety, and the overwhelming societal pressure to be perfect. She is dedicated to helping clients explore the root of their struggles—whether trauma, learned patterns, or unhelpful self-expectations—so they can develop self-compassion, resilience, and strategies to find balance. While this is a key area of focus, Maegan welcomes clients of all ages and values the growth that therapy can offer across the lifespan.
Therapeutic Approach
Maegan integrates a collaborative blend of Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Play Therapy and also trauma-focused techniques. Her approach is holistic and strengths-based, emphasizing overall wellness by exploring the physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual dimensions of health. She is passionate about helping clients reconnect with themselves, uncover the roots of their challenges, build resilience, and move toward a more grounded and authentic life.
What to Expect from a Session
Clients can expect a supportive, flexible, and validating space where they feel genuinely heard, understood, and empowered. Sessions are tailored to each individual and may include open conversation, mindfulness practices, creative or play-based interventions, skill-building and/or trauma processing. Maegan believes therapy should feel both meaningful and approachable, and she works collaboratively with clients to help them grow, heal, and find their most balanced selves.
